Quotes for Encouragement

Lately I've been very stressed and have needed some encouragement. Many of you may be feeling the same way. A few quotes have been sticking out in my mind this week and a few others I just found. Enjoy!

"I think what is going to hurt the most for the unsaved at the judgement is not going to hell, but rather to look at the face of their Creator and realizing He is all they want and all they long for but they will never be with Him. That is what brings true despair." (not sure who came up with this, my sister had it on her FB and I liked it).

"At the close of life the question will be not how much have you got, but how much have you given; not how much have you won, but how much have you done; not how much have you saved, but how much have you sacrificed; how much have you loved and served, not how much were you honored." -Nathan C. Schaeffer

Now a few from Oswald Chambers:

"The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else."

"If we have never had the experience of taking our commonplace religious shoes off our commonplace religious feet, and getting rid of all the undue familiarity with which we approach God, it is questionable whether we have ever stood in his presence."

Visit this website for more quotes from Oswald Chambers, they are all good!

This quote is from Oswald Chambers as well, my pastor quoted it in church:

"It is good to talk to others about God, but it is better to talk to God about others."
